Answer: well to me it's really important to be popular, but it really doesn't matter how many friends you have as long as you have a friend. Being popular and hurt your love life in some ways it depends. like say u were a geek in middle school and then in high school your really hot, then everyone would want to be your friend and you start changing. you might forget about your family and you might more than one girlfriend and then your not just hurting then but your also hurting yourdelf deep inside because you know you can't find love.

Answer: Popularity isn't a single status. You can be popular in your own group of friends, but in this case the entire group of friends is popular. Thinking that one friend is more popular than another creates a lot of tension among friends and could completely destroy a friendship.
