I am always amazed by the number of teens that comment regarding the lack of communication they have with their parents.  Many say they have never or rarely discussed sexual issues, even as simple as the basic "birds & bees" with their parents. As parents, the doors of communications need to be opened early and should never be shut - this allows children to mature into teens that continue and feel comfortable communicating with their parents. Remember, communication involves BOTH speaking AND listening.

If PATH teaches abstinence from sex until marriage is the healthiest path (no pun intended), and we are in a very sexually visual culture, and many are visually aroused just from being in our culture... where does self control and masturbation fit in?
